I thought it'd be nice to head out for the weekend on a travel high -- a few dreamy photos from Portugal. Being in this capital city is to inhabit a memory, a feeling of time passing and staying still, contemporary and decay all swirling into soft focus. We walked for hours through the jacaranda tree-lined squares and sampled little sweets from old fashioned candy stores. We visited the Portuguese tile museum and got yelled at by guards!

Porto, I already professed my love for this human-sized spot along the Douro river, and couldn't help but include a few images here of a library-turned bar . . . I'm ready for another adventure!
