A CUPPA WITH: SAMANTHA WENNERSTROM OF COULD I HAVE THAT?

Samantha Wennerstrom and I met way back, about 15 years ago, in Spanish class at high school of all places. Between giggles in our row of desks we struck up an easy friendship. Sam is now the author of a beautiful lifestyle/fashion blog Could I Have That? -- Over the past few years, I've watched her develop one of the most stylish, effervescent and seemingly effortless spots on the internet. Her blog is a serious celebration of fashion, friendship and fun. It's been lovely to reconnect with this old pal, especially because we have picture making and blogging in common. Today I'm so pleased to have her over here describing her tea rituals . . . Thanks Samantha!

What is your favorite type of tea and how do you take it? I love Rooibus tea. My Mom discovered it when she lived in South Africa (it's uber popular there) and I guess I inherited the love for the tea and the place.

My tea accompaniment of choice is: Chocolate chip scones, whipped cream and jam.

Music, my lazy day playlist . . . is on when I'm having tea.

I first started drinking tea when . . .  I was 9. My mom would take me to tea at the Biltmore every Wednesday to meet a friend.

My dream tea party would include . . .  chocolate, friends, lot's of laughter, my grandmother's tea cups she passed down to me and a cozy spot by the fire.

When I sip from my tea cup, I . . .  read international fashion magazines and snack on something sweet.

  1. What a great share! The women in my family have become really into the ritual of tea, and I'm so glad Samantha's blog led me to yours.
